Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a really great Christmas. Here at the FairyTalesNails household, we enjoyed a nice relaxing family holiday. Plenty of presents for Lexi to drive us mad with and lots of food to enjoy over the last few days. I can't believe yet another Christmas has come and gone, soon we will be saying hello to 2017! December just seems to have flown by, there were so many mani ideas I had for this month and I don't think I'm going to have enough time to get them all done. Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. We put up our brand new Christmas tree this weekend, all red, white and silver. It definitely has me excited for the holidays, Lexi loves it and has not managed to tip it over yet. In the UK our temperatures have plummeted and my woolly Minnie Mouse onesie has been pulled out of the wardrobe. Every day I am more and more amazed at how much she is learning and changing. So for today's post I have a quick review of the Twinkled T Glamour Mat, I managed to pick one of these up when Alex from Nail Artisan did a group buy for some of us UK ladies. I have owned quite a few of the nail art mat's that are on the market, and I truly believe this is one of the best ones I have come across. So let's jump into the review!

Over here in the UK Saturday was Bonfire night, a holiday where we celebrate a man failing to blow up the Houses of Parliment. We do this by having bonfires and fireworks. whilst being wrapped up with our gloves and scarves. There is normally a hot dog or burger thrown in the mix too. I was super happy to be living in a flat as I didn't have the issue of trick or treaters banging on the door. Unfortunately, mine was spent with a poorly Lexi, on the plus side there was Sunday roast dinner at my nan's for the first time in over a month. I am super excited as my boyfriend has agreed I can move my nail area into the living room so I can use my desk, so soon my lovely nail station will be on display for all to see. Mine was rather busy as my Mum was off work so we have spent a few days out, one at the butterfly farm and another at the zoo. August was a very up and down month for me due to many different personal circumstances. One of the highs of August was seeing the Suicide Squad movie, I am a huge comic book fan and I have loved the Batman universe since playing the Arkham gaming series. Harley Quinn is my all time favourite character from the DC universe along with the Joker. So to see them in a movie was a dream come true. Hello my lovely readers, unfortunately this week has not been a good one for me and my family. My great Aunty Ann passed away on Wednesday, it was expected but still not easy to deal with. The sooner a cure is found for Alzheimer's the better, I really hope you have all had a better week than myself. On the more positive side of things last weekend I hit 1000 followers on Instagram, I was over the moon and still am. So for my 1000 follower mani I broke out a highly sought and talked about polish Cupcake Polish Berry Good Looking. I have been dying to try this polish ever since hearing all of the hype last year.
