May Meebox- RiRi Unboxing & Review

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you have all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend. Today's post is another Meebox unboxing and review, this month Meebox announced that their theme would be Rhianna. I am not a huge fan of her but I do like some of her songs and her nails are always on point in her music videos. Meebox treated us to three nail polishes, a nail strengthening base coat and 2 nail art items. So lets jump straight into this RiRi box!

I was over the moon to see the brands that Meebox had chosen for this box, my eyes drifted straight to that gorgeous Danglefoot and I was blown away when I realised that they had chosen a Zoya polish too.

First up is this unique grey creme from Zoya, this is called Leah and has a satin finish it took 2 coats to reach full opacity. This polish isn't personally my cup of tea just because as you all probably know by now I am not a fan of nudes and dull colours. The pictures above are without top coat so you can see that full satin finish, don't manipulate this one too much or it will start to look streaky. You can purchase Leah from Nail Polish Direct for £8.95.

The second polish in our RiRi box is this classic red creme from WAH London, this is called Love My Team and is fully opaque in just 1 coat. It applied easily and did not leave any staining on my cuticles or on the nail when removed. You can pick this polish up from the WAH London website for £9.

The last polish in this months box was from one of my favourite UK indie brands Danglefoot nail polish. So excited to see one of Hayley's awesome polishes added to the Meebox line up. This polish is called Higitus Figitus, I did have this in a mini so it was great to know I now have a full size bottle. My friend swiped the mini off me the moment she knew I had a dupe, This is a black jelly base with linear holographic glitter, it takes 2 coats to reach full opacity. This isn't available in the Danglefoot Etsy Shop at the moment if it was it would probably be £6.75 for a 12ml bottle, there are some gorgeous new releases that I would definitely recommend checking out whilst the stock lasts.

Also in this months box is this nail strengthening base coat from OPI, this Nail Envy base coat is suppose to strengthen natural nails with hydrolyzed wheat protein and calcium. I probably won't be using this myself as I love to stick with my Nailtiques formula 2, but my friend uses this a lot and her nails grow quite quickly and very strong. This is a mini bottle 3.75ml you can get this from Nail Polish Direct for £1.95

One of the nail art items is from Sparkly nails, these spike nail art studs are very on trend and perfect for a Rhianna mani. These cost £1.20 from the Sparkly Nails website.

The last item in the May Meebox are these cuticle tattoos, these take your manicures to the next level and would be great for a night out. These are $6 from the RAD nails website, this comes with two sheets of tattoos and applies just like any other temporary tattoo.

Overall even though some of the colours are not to my particular taste I still think this box was fantastic and perfect for the theme. I am sure Rhianna would love to rock all of these items on her own nails. This box cost me £20 and the goods inside add up to just over £30 so still a massive bargain.

For those of you who don't know Meebox is a nail polish subscription service, for £20 a month you will receive 4 nail polishes and other nail items. I have never been disappointed by any of their boxes they pick fantastic brands and do a great job with the theme. I will leave the link to their website and social media accounts below.

I hope you have enjoyed this unboxing, I would love to know which products from this months box were your favourite?? I will be posting my RiRi mani shortly until then have a fab nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.
