Ejiubas Nail Vinyls- Swatch & Review

*Press Sample*

Hello, my lovely readers; I hope you have had a good week with minimal nail breaks. My week hasn't been hugely eventful, I have however broken a nail (major sad face). Not to worry it was not on my swatch hand, thankfully. But now my poor cindie hand is down to nubs again, so much length gone thanks to a very mean car door. Today's post is a rare one for me, I used nail vinyls! I was recently sent some Ejiubas nail vinyls to review so I sat down and gave it my best shot, let's jump in.

These nail vinyls were quite different to others I have tried in the past. They all come on a clear plastic sheet, all the vinyls are black in colour and have a little rectangle they are placed into. Each vinyl is 3cm long and 2.5cm wide. The vinyls are extremely thin and quite breakable, so I would definitely suggest being careful when you are removing them. They pulled up really easily and in one piece, so you did not have to fiddle around trying to remove the stars or leopard spots.

For my first manicure, I used #All the Books from the 'Ard As Nails Hashtag collection, I did a full swatch and review for this collection in my last post. This beautiful blue holographic was perfect for the manicure I had in mind.

For this manicure I had #All the Books on my pointer and pinkie nails, I then painted my middle and ring finger with Color Club Frech Tip. I top coated and waited at least 20 minutes to make sure it was fully dry. I then placed the star nail vinyls on top of my two white nails, I used #All the Books to paint over the vinyls and then removed it with my tweezers before the polish had time to dry.

Unfortunately for me I had a lot of bleeding and it just didn't work, so instead I decided to use my Uber Chic mat and made some decals. I placed the vinyls on the mat, painted over them and removed them quickly. I then used my new Moyra top coat over the top of the stars to create a decal, this top coat dried within 15 minutes and the decal was nice and soft and easy to apply to the nail. The Moyra top coat is now my go to top coat for creating decals. I then top coated with my HK girl to seal the decal in properly and make sure my manicure would last.

For my second mani, I used 'Ard As Nails #Angel for the base colour on all of my nails, I then top coated all of my nails and waited 20 minutes just like before. I didn't want to give up on trying to apply these vinyls to the nail so I gave it another go.

This time, it was a success I used China Glaze Liquid Leather to paint over the vinyl and I had no bleeding when I removed it.

Overall I would say these nail vinyls are good quality and they have a lot of different designs that come in the one packet. I don't know whether the star vinyl leaking was my fault, as I do not use nail vinyls very often. I am really happy with how these manicures turned out, out of the two the star manicure would have to be my favourite.

These Ejiubas nail vinyls can be purchased through Amazon and from their website, these vinyls are priced at £12.99 on Amazon. In one packet you get 12 sheets of vinyls with 24 designs, for some strange reason you only get 6 vinyls for each design which does mean you can not do a manicure that would cover all 10 nails. I would say that is a flaw when it comes to using these vinyls, as I know a lot of people like to do the same design on all nails. I will leave links to the Amazon link, Ejiubas website and social media down below so you can go check them out.

Would you purchase these vinyls? Let me know in the comments. As always have a fabulous nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.

  3. I love using nail vinyls and definitely need to check these out! Sometimes vinyls can be reused for the same manicure, but if these are as thin as you say, I'm not sure they could hold up to a second use. With only 6 of each pattern, it sounds like they think you should mix and match pattern or just do a few accent nails perhaps.

    1. Yeah I am not sure they would hold up to being used more than once hun. It does seem that is what they were going for, I would have definitely been happier with a full 10 for each design though x

  5. Both of these look great, despite the issues you had with the stars! I have to say, while I love the idea of vinyls, I personally haven't used them a lot so I know I always feel a bit awkward when using them!

  17. When considering the cost of interior door installation, several factors come into play, including the type of door, labor costs, and any additional materials required. On average, homeowners can expect to spend between $200 and $1,000 per door, depending on the complexity of the installation and the quality of the door.
