26 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge- New Year New You
Hello, my lovely readers, I hope 2017 has been treating you well so far. As you all know I set myself some goals for this year and one of them was actually carried over from last year. Well today's post is another Crumpet's Nail Tart's 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge and this time the prompt was new year new you. I was thinking I could do a mani to show how I want to lose weight or de-clutter my house. But instead I decided to tackle one of my resolutions and I am happy to say I did a water marble, I know I am just as shocked as you, So let's jump in and see how my first water marble attempt went.
Now I know these are not perfect, I was just thankful that the polish actually spread in the water. I did have problems with drawing a pattern, that is definitely something I am going to need to practise.
The three polishes I used for my water marble are from Polish M's Rest and Relaxation collection released last year. From left to right are Don't Stress, Relax and Unwind and I Need a Beach. These polishes are so stunning and I will make sure I have full swatches of all of this collection up when I can.
The polishes spread really easily in the water, as I said I had a few issues with drawing my pattern. But I am hoping that a bit of practice will help with that.
So there we have it for my new year new me I did something I had been putting off for over a year. Instead of just thinking about doing different techniques I am hoping this year I can actually get on and do them. If any of you amazing people have any tips or tricks for water marbling please leave them in the comments below.
I can't wait to see what everyone else has done for this prompt, as always everyone else's manicures will be in the In-Linkz down below.
As always have a fantastic nail day and I will chat to you wonderful people again soon.
You brave!
