26 Great Nail Art Ideas- Red & Pink
Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a nice week. I am so ready for the weekend, my mum was off work this week so I've had a couple of none stop days. I think it is safe to say I need to just chill and maybe eat some chocolate for the next couple of days (LOL) Today's post is another prompt for the Crumpets Nail Tart's 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge. The prompt this time was red and pink, so let's jump in and have a look!
I picked out two beautiful Danglefoot Nail polish mani's and decided to use the smoosh technique, the two polish I chose are called Swan and True Love's Kiss. Swan is the polish I collaborated with Hayley to create, it is a gorgeous dark red linear holographic with gold flakies. True Love's Kiss is a light pink linear holographic. These two colour worked really well together and created the look I was going for.
To create the smoosh I placed a few blobs of each polish onto my stamper and then used this to smoosh the colours together on my nail. I did pop down a white base coat just so the colours would pop. I then top coated my smoosh mani and used the flowers from Pueen Nature Lover 01 to stamp on top of the smoosh in white.
I really liked how this manicure turned out, I love the effect you can get from smooshing different polishes together. I have actually done a nail tutorial video to go along with this mani, which will be uploaded tomorrow. I am still having so much fun coming up with different manicures for this challenge, its great to think outside of the box.
Can't wait to see what everyone else has done for this prompt, all of their mani's will be in the in-linkz down below so definitely go check them out.
As always have fantastic nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.
