26 Great Nail Art Idea's- Mixed Tape Mani
Yippee! It's Friday, not much planned for the weekend but I am hoping I might get a small lie in as the other half has a day off tomorrow, so fingers crossed. I am here today with a really fun mani and to make it even better its a triplet mani with Bethany from B Nailed To Perfection and Becca from A Certain Becca Nails. The nail community is a lovely place and I have made plenty of friends since I've been a part of it. I am so pleased I met these two lovely ladies and have really enjoyed doing our triplet mani.
When I read the prompt mixed tape my mind immediately went to a cassette tape with lots of song on it. I don't actually think that is what it means, but luckily Bethany and Becca agreed with me so we came up with these three different manicures that would make a great Mixed Tape.

All three of us chose a particular song to be inspired by and used that as out accent nail, along with some musical notes on our other nails.
My inspiration was the song Wild One's by Flo Rida, the polish I used as my base was Princess Nail Lacquer I Pink I Love You. A gorgeous light pink scattered holographic, fully opaque in 2 coats. I then stamped the leopard print in black from Uber Chic Out Of Africa 01 and the writing is from Uber Chic collection 13 plate 3.
For the rest of my nails I used a stamping image from a Cheeky jumbo plate, this particular image is found on the Musical Nails plate. The Cheeky jumbo plates are really lovely, they stamp well and are a good size for both long and short nails.
The whole time I was wearing this mani I had that song running through my head, and as I am writing this I'm humming the tune. It was really fun doing this collaboration with the other two girls. I am sure that this is not what the prompt actually meant, but I love the mani's we did come up with.
As always everyone else's Mixed Tape mani's will be in the In-Linkz down below, please go check them all out as there are so many talented people in the Crumpets Nail Tart's group.
I would love to know what your song would be if you were to do this sort of mani? Let me know down below.
Have a fantastic nail day my lovelies and I will chat to you all again soon.

DeleteLOVE IT! I also interpreted it as a cassette tape too. I think maybe the young ones who don't know what cassettes are wouldn't understand the term. haha! I love that song too!
