Born Pretty Store Metallic Nail Lacquer & Stamping plate- Swatch & Review
*Press Sample*
Hello my lovelies, it's hard to believe that we are already in the middle of the week. So far this week has been packed full of nail mail and plenty more on the way, I had a recent splurge before I start my no buy next month. There are plenty of gorgeous polishes and plates coming your way soon, as well as my first giveaway which I will be holding on Instagram. So for today's hump day post, we have some more goodies sent to me from Born Pretty Store.
This time I received one of their new metallic style polishes and one of the new stamping plates they have recently launched.
Silver Sword
Silver Sword (#39763) is a silver metallic polish with a mirror effect, I used 3 coats to get this fully opaque. It really does reflect quite well and it has a nice to work with formula. It is slightly brush strokey but I think that is to be expected with this kind of formula.
I was also sent a lovely stamping plate BP-L071 (#39714), the bottom half of the plate is full of full-size nail images. Then on the top part, you have a buffet style arrangement that makes up a ladies face and hair. The plate measures 14.5cm by 9.5cm and the full-size images are 2cm by 1.3cm so they are good for longer nails but might be slightly harder to use for those who have nails that are on the wider side. The images picked up really nicely first try and for my stamping, I used one of the newer stamping polishes, which is described as a watermelon red (#37015).
Once again some really good quality products at great prices, if you are looking for a silver metallic then I would definitely recommend this one. To counteract the streaking issue it probably is best to use the three stroke method when applying the polish. I would love to know what you think of these products, let me know down below.
Born Pretty Store sell a variety of nail products among other beauty items. They are always of good quality, and they offer shipping worldwide, it does take quite a while to get to you but the products are definitely worth the wait. Don't forget you to use my discount code KHDB10 to get 10% off all full priced items. I will leave links to the website and their social media below so you can check them out.
I hope the rest of your week goes well and I will see you back here on Friday for another instalment of the Crumpets Nail Tart's 26 Great Nail Art Idea's challenge.
