Heroine NYC Debut Collection- Swatch & Review
Welcome back everyone, I hope you all had a lovely relaxing weekend; mine was spent with family and we had a lovely day out in town on Saturday just my partner, Lexi and me which was lovely. I also managed to get another Macbook Pro and all is going well so far, so I am keeping my fingers crossed this one will last longer. For today's post I have a new to me brand to share with you, this is an American Indie called Heroine NYC.
The polishes I have to share with you are from their debut collection, this collection does include 6 polishes but for some reason the blue polish has gone into hiding. I have searched all over my house but no luck so, once I do find it I will update this post with the swatches.
Touch-Me-Not
Touch-me-not is a bright purple creme that is fully opaque in 2 coats, this polish is a pain in the butt to photograph as it leans a more purple than my swatch pics show. The formula was lovely to work with and was extremely opaque.
Sublime
Next up is Sublime, this is probably my favourite polish out of the collection. It is a gorgeous neon lime green creme fully opaque in 2 thick coats or 3 thin. The formula was lovely to work with and it is the perfect polish for this time of year.
Mean Girl
This beautiful bright candy floss pink creme is Mean Girl, this could definitely be considered as a neon and no white base needed. This was fully opaque in 2 coats and had another lovely to work with formula.
White Noise
Can't release a core collection without having a crisp white creme polish, this was really nice to apply no problems with streaking and full opaque in 2-3 coats. I love wearing a white polish in the Summer and this is the perfect base for nail art.
Lights Out
To finish this gorgeous debut collection off we have a black creme, this used to be the only colour I would wear on my nails when I was a teenager. Again this had a lovely formula and was fully opaque in 2 coats.
Overall I really liked this collection, the bright cremes are perfect for this time of year and you can't go wrong with a gorgeous white and black polish. The formula was nice to work with and they applied evenly. The bright colours do dry to a matte finish so you will need a nice glossy top coat to make them shine. This collection is still available from the Heroine NYC website, the full collection is $55. Or you can purchase each polish separately for $10, each polish contains 11ml of product and has a flat wide brush. All of their polishes are 5-free, cruelty free and vegan friendly, they do ship internationally and I had no issues with custom charges.
I will leave links to the Heroine NYC website and their social media down below.
I would love to know which one out of the collection is your favourite? Plenty more new to brands coming as I am on a no buy so will be picking out polishes from mountain untried. Chat to you all again soon.
