Digit-al Dozen Does Marble- Day 1
Welcome back my lovely little fairies, we are kicking this week off with Day 1 of another Digit-al Dozen week. This time the theme is marble and what better way than to start with a watermarble mani, with some Tinkerbell stamping to finish it off. Read on to find out more...
When I found out the theme for this months Digit-al Dozen I was super excited as there are so many ways you can use a marble effect in a manicure. The very first thought that came to my brain was obviously the all mighty watermarble. I am not fantastic when it comes to watermarbling, I definitely need some more practice but I was quite pleased with how these turned out.
For the actual watermarble itself I used Polish M's cremes that have a lovely gold shimmer running through them. The shades I used are 'Push Pause', 'Just Breathe' and Forget the Rest', I also used the Pure Color watermarble tool to create the different patterns.
Then to give it that extra little sparkle I added the fairy image from Clear Jelly Stamper LC-04, this is a beautiful layering plate that has lots of pretty fairy and pixie related images to choose from.
Overall I am quite happy with how this one turned out; the watermarble definitely needs some work to get a more consistent pattern across all of the nails but I'm hoping that will get better with more practice. I can't wait to see all the other ladies lovely mani's, they will all be in the In-linkz down below so make sure you go show them all plenty of love.
