Danglefoot Nail polish: Greys Anatomy Quartet

 Hello my lovely fairies; hope you are all keeping well and staying safe. It has been a bit of a tough week as my illnesses have been flaring up and the cold weather is definitely not helping. I did however manage to swatch some beautiful Danglefoot nail polishes that have been in my swatch pile since before Christmas. These beauties are based of the amazing TV show Greys Anatomy, so let’s take a closer look.

For those of you who don’t know Danglefoot nail polish is a UK indie that I have been using for many years now. These lovely polishes are made by the very talented polish maker Hayley, I always love her formula and these were no exception. Easy to apply and looked stunning on the nails.

Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me

Pick Me, Choose Me, Love me- this is a gorgeous bright cerulean blue jelly base packed with silver and holographic flakes. Swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. This is such a stunning polish so glittery and reminds me so much of a gorgeous night sky. This polish is inspired by the main character from the show Merideth Grey and the love she has for Derick, not my personal fave relationship from the show but a gorgeous polish to brighten up these winter months.

You’re My Person

You’re my person- a beautiful lavender base with a strong goldey green, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. Another great formula to work with and the shimmer translates beautifully from the bottle to the nail. This polish symbolises the amazing friendship that Christina and Meredith have which is definitely one of my favourite things from the show, the purple and goldey green contrast beautifully together.

McSteamy

McSteamy- is a red chrome polish that shifts from copper to gold and has holographic flakes, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat.   This is a stunning polish and builds up really nicely the shift is beautiful on the nail and it would make a great base for any upcoming valentines mani’s.

30 Second Dance Party

30 Second Dance Party- is a dark green to light greens thermal polish with multi-coloured flakes, when in its cold state it is dark green and when warm turns to a very pale light green shade. Shown is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. If you would like to see this polish in action then head to my Instagram for a little demonstration video. 

I really enjoyed this little collection, it has a lovely mix of colours and finishes and all of them represented the show nicely. All of these polishes are 5 free, cruelty free and vegan friendly; they are all handmade in small batches by Hayley here in the UK. 

This quartet was a priced at £30 for all 4 when i purchased them or £8 per polish, Hayley is actually on maternity leave at the moment but I believe she will be back soon. I am not sure if she will be doing a restock of the Greys Anatomy collection but I am sure she will have lots of beautiful newbies to share with us so make sure you keep an eye on her Instagram and store for more updates.

I have always loved using Danglefoot nail polishes and if I had to pick a favourite from these 4 it would have to be Pick Me. Choose Me. Love Me. The sparkle is just so pretty and I always love a pretty blue polish that gives me night sky vibes.
