Uber Chic Beauty: Let It Snow
**Gifted in exchange for my honest review**
Hello my lovely fairies!
Today I have a fabulous new Uber Chic plate to share with you kindly sent to me by the lovely Annette from Rainbow Connection. This plate is the perfect accompaniment to any winter or Christmas themed mani, so many stunning snow images to choose from. Read on to see how I used this plate and what pretty snowflake nails I came up with…
This awesome plate is has literally every snowflake design you can think of, if you love creating some winter wonderland manis then this is the plate for you.
This is one of Uber Chics full size plates it measures 14.5cm by 9.5cm, there are about 80 singular snowflakes in various sizes and two full size nail patters as well as 2 longer sized snowflake images perfect for super long nails one of white is a negative image. There is also 7 written slogans all themed around snow.
The first design I came up with I used the gradient stamping technique where I stamper three different colours over a black base. I stamped one of the full nail images onto my pointer, middle and pinkie; and the ring finger i stamped the ‘There’s Snowone Like You’ image. All of these picked up really nicely and images were etched into the plate well.
The second design I did was using the pond mani effect with the individual snowflakes, this method is where you use a sheer jelly polish and stamp images between the layers to create an underwater effect. I really liked how this one turned out and Cirque Juicy Fruity made the perfect jelly polish for the look.
The final design I have done so far with this plate is this simple double stamping using some more individual snowflakes and a word image. I stamped using three different colours and used a black to create shadow with the wording.
This plate is definitely a great one for this time of year and if you love some intricate snowflakes then it will be a definite winner for you. It is available now from Rainbow Connection for £13.
As always I hope you have enjoyed todays post my lovelies and a big thank you once again to Annette for sending me this plate to review for you all. I will see you back here soon with plenty more nail goodies to share.
